Back For Good

5 months of hiatus and I'm back. still so utterly lost for words but I'm definitely back. opening a new chapter, a blank fresh sheet awaiting ink. things from now on are gonna change. change for the better of course. i deserve much more and shan't settle for any less.

my holidays are pretty much planned out, well in my head anyway. i foresee loads of happiness and smiles throughout these few months and hope it will continue on and on. can't say this year has been the best year for me, more downs than ups but i'm still hanging on. still strong enough to put on a smile for you! or rather my infamous grin. heh.

i turned 19 on the 22nd of november. took me awhile to realize that it's the last of my teens, 20 next year! oh how time flies, it's amazing! who knew i'd even reach 19 right? HA HA jokes. that's still damn young and i shall live my days happy and healthy. speaking of health, i've already made a commitment towards myself about how i'm gonna keep fit and monitor whatever that goes into my mouth right after my finals (which starts tomorrow btw and i'm here blogging fml yeah okay wtv i'm taking a break? lol) so anyway, one morning i was going through Fay Hokulani's lifestyle blog for hours, pretty much drooling over her sexy abbalicious body! never felt so inspired and motivated. if you're as mad as to go through almost every post (which i did *guilty*) you'd find a before and after picture of herself in one of her backdated post. she used to be plump. she wasn't as privileged as many other girls who are permanently slim which make things so surreal. and so, i made my vows, to myself of course and yes! so excited to start! press the fast forward button shall we?

Halo! YG Day! 2011

June has been one crazy&happening month! i had my first semester Finals going on (so much for happening ;)) in between studying and everything else, Chrome L decided to compete in the Halo YG Day! which was practically a Kpop dance competition to celebrate the presence of YG Entertainment in Malaysia (like finally). the YG family especially consist of Big Bang, 2NE1 and Se7en. we sent our audition video to Halo Music and got shortlisted for the finals on the 25th of June which was last Saturday!

Where was it? 1Utama near Armani Exhange. at first we all thought it would be indoors like in the middle amongst the shops or something like that, BUT it was such a HUGE letdown! it was outside near the taxi stand, no stage was to be found and the scorching weather didn't make things any better. our SPIRIT to dance went bye-bye....

Fortunately, things turned upside down when we saw the crowd!

I would like to thank all my beloved/frigging awesome friends who made effort to come all the way just to support me :'( so touching! much appreciated! you guys are the best ♥ made my performance so much more meaningful and since it was the first time seeing me dance live like that for the most of you :3 i really hope it was up to your expectations hehe!

I'm sure you guys must be asking yourselves "SO DID YOU GUYS WIN OR NOT WOR?" hahaha! no we didn't come in 1st but we were the top 3 and no, 1st and 2nd runner up doesn't exist, sadly! but we did receive a bag of beauty products, Big Bang's new album, Se7en's new album, a Digi goodie bag(???) each and a RM100 voucher worth of Korean BBQ at DaoRae!

disappointed, yes we were! although we didn't come in 1st this time that doesn't mean we are gonna give up and stop practicing because this is just the beginning of Chrome L! win or lose, i honestly am very happy with our performance. despite our super busy schedule, we managed to practice and perfect our steps throughout the month of June. you could say we are pretty new to the Kpop community in Malaysia as this was our 1st competition together, the 5 of us i mean, not as Chrome L.

so much effort and scarifies were made throughout this little journey and none of that was a waste. to be able to perform and entertain the crowd like that is absolutely priceless! we are entertainers, that's what we are.

Special thanks to Chris' girlfriend, Siau Yin for putting so much effort into the costumes for the 3rd track (TONIGHT)! can you imagine? all those BLING BLING and everything else was all her hard work! :3

I have finally gotten myself, no wait.. my dad finally got me/us a Nikon D5100 :D

when i saw him bring back a dslr, my heart let out a silent scream and i couldn't wait to grab hold of it! so much anxiety rupturing inside of me! urghhhhhh :D

I can now officially and proudly say, "I am a DSLR user!" (y) HAHAHAHA suck on that compact users! cheyy.. NO LAH :P jooooooking!

there is no doubt that my compact Canon Ixus is still working perfectly and it can take great pictures too! it has been through thick and thin with me for so many years now *sigh* wouldn't give it up for anything :)

the new toy

this beauty takes full 1080p HD videos with a full time autofocus, my dad thinks video recording is important so yeah, very good! it surprisingly also comes with an extra feature which most slr's do not have, Effects~ fancy eh? my favorite mode is Selective color (where you select a specific color and it isolates within the scene) and High key (it emphasizes the mood of the scene). the D5100 has the capability of capturing 4 frames per second continuously at a high speed. fuuhhh fast :D this camera is definitely made for me, as its Vari-angle LCD monitor allows u to view the scene at many angles cause it can swivel...which also means a thumbs up for camwhoring :D nyeknyek.

i am really glad that my dad didn't end up getting the D90 or D7000. humungous machines that weighs a ton! i would probably build neck muscles by the end of the day. i know how it feels like because i've experienced carrying leezen's D7000 before and it was no stroll in the park. captures beautiful pictures but not practical for a girl like me :3 *flips hair*

still at the learning stage, learning how to take flawless pictures. anyone keen and patient enough to teach me? :D

i finally got my facial done today after so many months of having clogged pores. SKIN IS VERY ZE IMPORTANT! must never neglect it. nothing beats flawless skin! i can never have "flawless" skin cause i was born with freckles. so what i mean by flawless in my case is no pimples and black/white heads. my facial sessions has never been enjoyable cause when the beautician starts to remove my pimples/black&white heads OH DAYUMM! cannot exactly tell you how excruciating it feels D: fist clenching painful. yeah that's it!

so anyway, it was my first time at HerbaLine, which is located in Connaught. i actually heard about the place from Derek, yeah he goes there for facial :D see! even dudes take good care of their skin man, you girls who don't should really be ashamed of yourselves :P hahahaha jokes.

their packages are reasonable, it is a one time based kinda deal so there are no strings attached :) it comes with FISH SPA TOO :D nyomnomnom your dead skin away~

well when i was notified that JB was coming to town my first reaction was, oh damn are people gonna pay big bucks to go there just to throw bottles at him or something like that? sigh. i really don't get them haters! it's true it's true, everyone has got their own opinion about absolutely every single thing that exist on planet earth. but why would you wanna go to the extend of making parody videos about how 'sucky' he is, are you really that obsessed with his so called 'suckiness' or how 'gay' he looks with his hair (his previous hairstyle). geez give it a rest will ya? i Believe these people mostly are instead feeling the opposite which is probably loving him deepdeep down inside OR just plain envious jerks.

so anyway i surprised myself by actually attending JB's concert when he was here in Malaysia! (which was awhile ago, better late than never! never sayyyy neverrrr HAHAhahaaHAHA) :D

nothing stopped us from watching JB live, not even the heavy downpour.

sk was drenched while looking for the much needed plastic ponchos! so many failed attempts! we were pretty much stressed out most of the time haha.

when we finally got hold of them oversized plastic bags and ready to enter! the most ironic part was when we were geared up for the rain, it had already stopped when entering :O

sk and i had major failed attempts on trying to win tickets on hitz and red fm so we end up buying the cheapest tickets. :( cheap things really not nice leh.

still smiling even after getting bullied by fat malay kids who almost made me deaf with their ear drum breaking whistles and not to mention how they had to splat some chickens on me!! along with some chilli sauce! *glares back*

the night didn't just end at the concert :) JB not only brought the rain but also contributed to the KL jam :D we took about an hour just to get out of the car park! lol barely moved half of the time.

we supper-ed at In House Cafe, it's a 24/7 cafe in Cheras :D bonding session between the grandma and grandson (inside joke) heeh :D

this tough cookie has finally gotten her first belt :3

i might have looked really calm while receiving it but in actual fact i was jumping up and down deep down inside and probably grinning my heart away. taking this achievement as a really big stepping stone into being a great fighter. it is . a lot of people ask me 'what made you join kickboxing?' i would usually just say 'cause i enjoy it' well honestly since i'm typing out right now and therefore allows me to think a little more, i'd have to say it's probably the intensity of it that i love. how it feels when i am throwing a punch or building up a roundhouse kick, how your body isolates into the movement. two words, adrenaline rushing. and most importantly, i never fail to enjoy myself during training and it's all thanks to the Awesome people around me.

oh and btw i got a double promo, means i skipped red belt. sorry i just had to brag ;) *chuckles*

would like to take this opportunity to thank Master Bathi for being there to coach me every step of the way and most importantly making me smile and to always looking forward to every training session. you soooo ROCKS Master! ;)

it is 8.24am right now, time to get ready for class. :)

yes, i've been having the sniffles for the past 4 days now :( everyone has been quite sick lately due to the terrible weather while some of us got it from sharing the air we breathe in. i'm prettyyyyy sure i've spread me germs to some unlucky dude already since i haven't been skipping any classes :( sorry. i rarely get sick, like at max twice a year? so this is probably a treat :D hahahaha! who am i kidding. nobody likes falling sick. it drains the hell outta ya! physically and mentally. no duh, it explains how i've been attending college looking like a zombie for this whole week. so if you've seen a pale looking slop around uni, yeah that's me.

Both these songs were sung by Bell Nuntita during her audition on Thailand's Got Talent! i completely fell in love with them instantaneously! despite the fact that i always had a soft spot for thai songs ever since i was a kid. what actually inspired me or made me grew a liking for thai songs was because i would frequently visit Amarin (a thai restaurant located in Megamall) for really yummy tomyam where they also used to always play sentimental thai songs. the language itself is indeed so beautiful and love how it's intonation sound is somewhat comforting. makes me fall in love, over and over again...

notice how thai sounds a lot like chinese? :D yes? no?

Tonight! holysmoke, a super hot song to dance to! most of their songs always have these really awesome techno beats which i loveloveloveeee! always loved Big Bang cause all of them individually are talented in their own way and they all posses very unique voices. they were the ones who made me start to go gaga for more kpop. my first ever kpop song was Haru Haru by them, it was an instant love affair for me. Tae Yang was definitely my first love :)

Rachel's 19th Birthday

Rachel's super belated birthday celebration on the 5th of March! well in actually fact, her birthday was on the 12th of Feb, woah! just realize the big delay over there, who would even bother to celebrate after a month? haha! that's why Rachel's special and my friend :) there were many times the dinner was supposed to happen but somehow didn't materialize cause not everyone could make it and yadayada.

wokay, moving on! Rach had already decided on what kind of food she wanted, which was Thai for dinner. rach and i are pretty much TomYam freaks so you can't blame us if we are always so hot and spicy yeah? ;) hahahaha!

at first i suggested Amarin in Megamall because their TomYam is absolutely the Best and you can trust me on that! but unfortunately they closed on us cause apparently they are in the midst of upgrading. boohoo. couldn't think of anywhere else so Flying Chillies it was! located in The Gardens on the top most floor. food there was a wee bit disappointing but all that mattered was the company.

zen and i had to wait for 4 ladies who were utterly late for dinner. long story so not gonna talk about it here cause you might laugh at how silly it is. anyway :) thank goodness traffic wasn't so bad they reach at about 9.30pm? SO EARLY HOR? ppl starving already man haha. and supposedly the last call for food already but we matimati sat down for some food anyway cause, well there is NO cause. we were famished and needa FOOD!

Feather Light

just got a haircut 2 days ago and it feels like a few pounds has been lifted off my head! despite the fact that more than an inch has been chopped off, i'm actually very happy with the cut and it's all thanks to Mark, a senior hairstylist at the A Cut Above, Pavilion. well all i need to do now is to patiently wait for it to grow out. it's gonna take FOREVER! gah. hair grows at a rate of around half an inch per month, aneh slow man! really want my hair long again, like super long. till the waist perhaps! *grins*

2 and a half hours on that seat and all i could think of is "speed the hell up!"

hello everyone, my next post was supposed to be about vday but the only thing i've been thinking about is my bed so that will have to wait, omg so the delayed. gah. well kickboxing almost everyday feels great no doubt about that but it sucks the living outta ya! not that i'm complaining or anything. just can't believe i can't find the time to update my blog.

i've been a very very bad girl this week. if attending one day out of 4 days of Orientation isn't bad, then tell me what is? what a fantastic way to start my first year in uni dontcha think? by skipping orientation. shows so much discipline and commitment eh? pfft. whatever not like i was gonna benefit much from those talks and who would diligently pay full attention to the boring speakers anyway, especially me who has an attention span of a fish.

the real work starts tomorrow! bring it :D

CNY is over which also means Uni starts on monday! a mixed feelings there, can't wait to see my mates yet i can wait to study! it has been quite a long holiday for me, wished it was longer but ah well good things always comes to an end? pfft.

whatsup lately?

I've just started Kickboxing, something i wanted to do A LONG time ago but due to laziness and the distance it didn't happen so quickly. lucky for me i have a very enthusiastic friend who wanted to join as well! Rachel. she managed to also convince the others, Mun Yee, Chien Sin, Olivia and even my bf. our first session was on Wednesday morning. there was another session at 6.30pm and so we decided to continue training in the evening because we were so damn SEMANGAT! yes we are very committed fighters yeah! so don't play play man! most of us anyway. :P

Where do we train? Xtreme Martial Arts it's a shop lot located at Plaza Damas. the only tiny problem is probably the distance cause most of us stay in cheras and some in ampang. but that's not gonna stop me!

okay needa go bathe now, gonna meet this bugger soon :P

as you'd notice, i haven't been very consistent with updating my blog cause i am as lazy as a house dog. also haven't had much time in front of the computer as i've been gallivanting the streets till ungodly hours. no, seriously. my skin is at its worst state right now it amazes me.

anyhow, i'm here and blogging!

just about a week ago we celebrated mom's birthday! there was a cake and of course a scrumptious dinner :)

realized how i've not been spending as much time with her as i used to before. just thinking about about our mother-daughter dates really do bring back good memories. watching movies together, our manicure sessions, shopping and so forth. i definitely am gonna hang out with her more often starting from now. a mother is always there for you even if things turn ugly. i can proudly say, my mom is my best friend!

Dinner was at Malones, Pavilion. it's a Irish Restaurant/Bar so they actually serve yummy irish food. the dishes there comes in quite substantial sizes, not too big nor too small. and i must say it's worth a try! i'd go there again :)

just by looking at these two pictures has already brightened up my day. it maybe a cold, gloomy day but i feel utterly satisfied with everything that is right in front of my eyes now. things may not be perfect but what's life when all is perfect anyway? no hardships, no challenges, just a bed of purple roses (just because..) life would just be annoying especially if there are unicorns jumping the meadows. say whatttt?

will be going out much later for a little shopping with the Olive at Megamall/The Gardens. ditched her the other day because i had dinner with my family and i feel truly bad for letting her be a loner in the mall so there would be some making up to do, an extra hug maybe? ;)

so sad the Rabbit won't be able to join us because she has to see her grandparents! huhuhu. "you are gonna get a spanky tomorrow!" says me. rach and i was chatting earlier and we were talking about how unexcited we are to have fun in the sun at Sunway Lagoon tomorrow. i mentioned that we are getting old and lazy and maybe those days are really over? i still wonder why, hmm?

well then, what made us want to go anyway? we are opportunist! hahaha the Olive managed to snagged off 8 FREE tickets for all parks and so we will be going as we do not wanna waste good tickets :3 hopefully we'd be SEXited (kyean's favourite word lawl) by the time we arrive :)

my brand new 13.3" MacBook Pro!

finally managed to convince my mom to get me one and ever since then i've been flying sky high! i want to thank my mom again for this amazing gift, never could have imagined owning a Mac. so it's pretty much still so surreal. i have yet to further discover it's great functions and still need some getting used to, it's actually really easy to navigate thanks to the multi-functional trackpad that works wonders! usually when i'm using my Compaq, i would badly require a mouse because it's uncomfortable to use the trackpad as it's small which would usually cause my finger to ache at times whenever i move it around that tiny box and it's sensitivity is really low and that makes it sooooo hard move the cursor around. OH! and not forgetting the unsuitable material used, you know when it creates a jerky movement? gets me exceedingly agitated lor :/ i already feel so stressed out just describing how bad it is! lol.

Mac's trackpad is the complete opposite so imagine that. heavenly to use and no mouse needed at all!

One of its significant feature or shall i say my favourite? still need to fiddle with it more and learn about what more it can do. i should probably ask a Mac expert, any volunteers? :)

9 months of baring up with leftovers getting stuck between my braces, not forgetting the continuous sufferings of getting cuts and ulcers as big as my pi kang sai! HAHAHA no lah omg, just saying :P if you don't know what that means, just continue reading ;) to be honest, i actually got really used to wearing braces so it was pretty much a love hate relationship. i loved them being as tight as possible because i'm vain! tighter equals having to get rid of it faster and therefore the pain is really nothing but just a pinch.

anyway all i wanna say is that I SOOOO GLAD THEY HAVE BEEN TAKEN OFF!!! like foreva :) no more awkward facial expressions when about to snap a picture cause i'm way too shy to show off my grills. pfft. nothing can stop me from grinning anymore!

grandmother and i on the way back to Malaysia from Chiang Mai.

Granny's birthday was on the 20th of January, unfortunately for her getting food poisoning on the day itself.. we had to postpone the birthday dinner :( hope she is feeling much better now though. happy 75th birthday phorphor! i love you, cutest phor ever!

With no doubt, i actually genuinely love spending my time with my grandparents and you know why? cause they are so COOL! trust me i know best! :) we enjoy each others company wherever we are, whether it's just having dinner or even hanging out at their cozy little suite. yeap, we are tight! lol not the right word maybe but yes i can say we are close, very. it's never a drag to give them each a peck on the cheek but on the contrary very happy to do so. happy in others words i feel warm on the inside whenever i do so and feel glad that our bond is that strong.

i honestly cannot imagine them not being part of my life. i want to see them see me get married, have children and everything that comes along with it. life is uncertain but i'm very sure they'll be there, by my side, always.

greetings world, it has been awhile :)

I'm now currently scouting for a brand new laptop because the Compaq that i have now is practically ancient (well not really but it weights a gazillion! and with these weak arms of mine, it kills to carry it around.) and i never had a laptop of my own, as in i always had to share it with my dad. not that i am complaining or anything but it would be really great to just see files that only belong to me. by sharing a laptop also means sharing memory space and so there isn't always enough as yours truly over here loves to upload pictures, videos and more pictures! memory runs out like KUHRAAAZEEE :(

so ANYWAY, i was thinking a MacBook Pro! went to check it out yesterday and YES i so want it! after looking at it i really don't have the mood to look any further because that is what i want for sure. let's see what the parents say :) can't get my hopes up though! haha, just really excited about getting a new laptop, i mean a MacBook Pro! (which is really uncertain btw :3) will update on what i might be getting soon.....but for now i will just feast my eyes on Jang Geun Suk cause he is such an eye candy!

I feel my heart racing, excited for something that is apparently absolutely nothing. just gonna waste time at home bumming around till dinner and since everyone else is busy with their own lives, i shall pretend to be as well. i'm still in my what i like to call, granny pajamas and with hair oh so greasy. i probably should take a bath by since it already in the evening. but what is the point when i'm just gonna bum around within these walls. i can gleefully say that i'm happy to be home in this state and with great company by my side, a lazy dog. my housing area is thankfully very quiet and so the only noises heard will be, me typing, the pedestal fan oscillating, birds chirping and the wind chimes. the best time of the day to take a nap.

it was the perfect weather as we took a trip down in 2 cars to Cyberview Lodge for branch with my family. and if you're wondering about who that "hunk" over there is, well he is my extremely vain cousin brother who i love to bits :) we are actually quite alike.. in ways, or maybe it's just the vain bit :D

anyway his family comes down from Penang every year to celebrate Christmas with us and we are always so happy to see auntie Susie and uncle Ming :D unfortunately Nicholas (the older brother) couldn't make it as he is now working in Melbourne as an accountant. hope to see him soon too!

Last night was Shabu time at Shabu Garden located in Kuchai Lama.

It was a satisfactory dinner i must say :) we individually ordered our dishes and had a pot of soup to ourselves. there were many types of soup to choose from! Tomyam (YESSS TOMYAM), Spicy and sour soup (Not Recommended), Bak Kut Teh (heard it was quite good), Clear Soup (hm no idea, must have been alright) and lastly Herbal soup (Tien comment about it being tasteless lol)

but of course i ordered my Tomyam and no regrets cause it was damn syok :D especially after all the yummies were added into the soup, made it so sweeeetttt. i was a happy child, not to mention the free refills haha :P

fickle minded. those two words describe me perfectly.

as fickle as i normally am, which usually only applies to shopping. definitely not fickle minded when it comes to being friends with someone. i really don't get it, why can't the past be kept in the past? there is really no need to be so melodramatic about such things anymore. people are moving forward so why stick in the past while eating your heart out. there is really no need for any sort of verbal violence or accusation at this point.

just thinking about that particular moment makes me wonder why i was so silly to believe every word from your mouth. jumping into conclusions only ended up with an ugly scene full of tears and anger. anyhow, being angry and upset about the whole thing will not be part of my plan right now nor in the near future. forgiven but definitely not forgotten, yet.

This years birthday was definitely a special one, a date to remember forever. never thought my mom would sneak behind my back to contact all my friends and plan together a Surprise birthday party for me! it was perfect, the place, the food and of course the people who were there. everyone who i love most were there to celebrate my sweet 18th with me! friends from sri garden, ze dancer Chris, my college mates, Kim my cousin, my b♥yfriend and my parents! it was quite like a dream come true :)

Every year on my birthday i never fail to celebrate, whether it was at home where we would invite all my friends and family over while granny would cook a feast or just going out to hang with my friends. even though my birthday last year was in the midst of SPM, i still went out for dinner with my parents and cousin on the eve. but it didn't just end there, continued with a cake and present from my bf at midnight :) i somehow always feel the need to celebrate, i mean it is a really special day!

my parents, the ones who have been always there to support and shower me with much love for all these years. i may be lacking in so many ways but what i do know is that i love you both to bits :,) thank you so much for the awesome party! especially to my mom who did everything! you so ROCKS! :D

when lz surprised me with cupcakes lighted up in his car boot along with a bouquet of roses, a bucket of frigging delicious caramelized popcorn and orchids all the way from Singapore :3 despite the chaos and troubles he had to face in the airport (the saddening story of 2 Ipads stolen at the Singapore airport!) he still came to wish me at around 1am. i was sooooo happy, literally grinning my ass off the entire time. he even got his good friend Kah Weng to help out in his little surprise by bringing the cupcakes to Ye Yang's (another friend of his) house which is super near my area so it would be convenient for him. wahhh all the inconvenience just for me? am one lucky girl indeed :) everything was planned before he left for Singapore :3

by the time i ran up to grab my camera.... =( huhuhu.

yes i know i should have blogged this much earlier, sigh. no excuses but well have been really occupied and my birthday post is still on the way haha! oh well. i will definitely make time for it tomorrow.

while i stand proud and tall, i say "that boy over there in that picture, with Oreo stuffed in his mouth... is my Boyfriend!"

the first thing he told me when he gave me this picture of himself was "I joined this competition because you love Oreos." awww what a sweetheart :3 as you can see, he entered the Oreo Moments competiton right after his work out at the gym, no time to even take those gloves off :) SO CUTE RIGHT? lol i laughed my guts out when i first saw it and am still laughing whenever i see it now. oh and if you look verrrryyyy closely, you can see sweat on his singlet around the chest area! stinkerinaaaaaaaaa....

a sweaty gymster who was famished after hours of body building and was extremely eager to munch down some Oreo cookies! cooookiiiieee monssstarrrrr :D

this is funny, but what was funnier was that HE ACTUALLY WON! :D

we were right in the midst of a movie and they called him up to tell him he won the competition :) wah i was quite proud HAHAHA! so he won a heap load of Oreo cookies along with... i don't know what else.

and naturally since he won Oreo cookies, he would prolly give me some? NOPE! not even half of the cookie or the yummy cream in the middle :( rolf. well i didn't bother asking for them cookies anyway and as time passed by.... the cookies were longggg forgotten. plus i can't imagine myself gorging in Oreo cookies, what a GUILT trip that would be. pfft.

ANYWAY :) who need cookies when i have this picture! and it shall forever be a great story to tell, maybe to my grandchildren in the future? lol

Away and Back

a short trip to the 2nd largest city in thailand. yeap, i was there in chiang mai for a few days with mom and grandparents, dad couldn't go cause he had to take care of Bruno our boxer lol. a light and easy trip that ultimately concluded to just shopping, shopping and just more shopping :) yes am one happy child. though what truly was disappointing was that the tomyam i had there was just mediocre :( i can find much better ones here in KL!

the thai people are extremely polite, perhaps it's their culture to be well mannered. unlike us, kuala lumpurians haha :P one thing that grasped me when i was there was that i looked so much fairer than usual. i looked at my skin and said to myself "holly shyt! why is my skin so white one?" lol the people over there adored my skin for its fairness :3 *perasan* HAHA nolah.

lz is prolly in madrid right now and i'm at home :( lucky boy. i have his Camry but my parents won't let me drive!! WHY :( auntie chiam also trust me with the car hahaha. pfft. oh well, imma try my luck by asking again soon! my parents just don't want to take the risk? "why drive when we can take you?" they would say. "butbut i wanna be independent :(" i'd tell myself.

I know i have been inefficient when it comes to updating my blog and yadayada but for the past few weeks there were just a full load of assignments and more assignments, i even had to go back to college during my one week of study break to just practice for our play (a big percentage over there so had to be serious) and now i'm in the midst of my finals, doesn't make things easier, do they? thank goodness there's a holiday tomorrow, gives me some time to continue on this :) 3 more papers and i'm done!

zomg i totally forgot the name of the restaurant :( sigh. was too distracted by the chef who was literally selling his food and bragging on about how great HIS food is :P HAHAHA! he was spot on, right timing and right target. we were just walking along the streets and stopped by an Italian restaurant and starting browsing through the menu, all of a sudden a dude in his chef outfit barged out to welcome us in "i give you something special, complimentary! just for you!" "next bring your boyfriends ah?" "when you taste my steak ah, you will definitely say something one" errr.. HAHAHAHA! we did fall for his persuasiveness and ended up having a great meal :)

My first Halloween :D

Meow, I'm a kitty cat and I Dance Dance dance and I Dance Dance Dance :D

So after much contemplation, i decided to go for SABD's Spook Bash for the sake of dressing up since i have never dressed up for Halloween in my entire life before! surprising? or maybe not because in Malaysia, Halloween ain't such a big thing SADLY.. so moving on!!

Here is ze Kitty Cat, tried camwhoring but i couldn't get the perfect picture of me and my hair-made ears! at first i thought, maybe i should just go without the ears cause it was so last minute and i don't have any clipped on ears nor do i have the headband ones so... thought of just tying up my hair into a bow but i forgot how short my hair is right now. pfft. then i decided to make a smaller bow BUT it looked kinda fail. THEN! i started to fidget with my hair anddddd.... not gonna tell you the details and so VOILA! :D

When i reached college i was shooo shy to get down from the car because you know, me is the shyz :3 hehehe! anyway i managed to walk to the lecture hall where my friends were with pride and was able to show off my pair of ears to the world!

Met up with Kieran and i made him change into his costume because i felt so lonely! hahaha at first he tried on his Nun dress and WOAH it was tight as hell!!! if you know what i mean.. so i asked him to change into his Oriental Kung Fu outfit which was more manly but he wasn't happy cause he looked really normal and boring and so after awhile he changed into the dress again and so he looked like a fag. HAHAHAHA joke. he was a very sexy Sister indeed ;) unfortunately i didn't get to take a picture with him :( he was the emcee for the night..

Happy November everybody! :) you guys are probably thrilled and getting all ready for the holiday season :) cause i really am! what could top stress free days, endless outings and just lazing at home with my Boxer (my dog, not boxers). well besides that it's my birthday month, yes! gonna finally be 18 on the 22nd. it actually doesn't feel like there's gonna be any changes, sigh. oh well! anyhow, i am still gonna enjoy my youth before i identify any white hair! urgh. Oh! speaking about hair.. i chopped off like 5-6 inches :( it's sad but i really had to! no point in keeping those damaged strains of hair! sucks to get rid of them but ah well it'd grow back in no time.. and i also dyed my hair dark brownish mahogany-ish color :3

My October Fest?

Have been so caught up with college till there wasn't enough time to update you on what has been going on lately :( well I'm here and so I shall update ;)

Just yesterday I watched a late night movie with the bf at Pavilion. It was one of Zac Efron's latest movie, Charlie St. Cloud. A few weeks ago I saw the trailer and thought that it would be a good movie. Guess I felt way too lethargic and sleepy yesterday and before realizing it, I fell asleep in the midst of the show. So I pretty much don't know what's it about cause I already dozed off on to his chest before reaching the climax of the movie. I do remember that I woke up half way and saw the main actors, Charlie and Tess about to do have sex? and Lz was trying to cover my eyes? -.- geewee that was the only climax I had managed to see I suppose? rofl. I couldn't care less lah, sleep was way more important at that point and time :P and so I continued sleeping till the very END! Woke up feeling all cranky. Sorry babe! Didn't mean to, must have been my subconscious mind taking over and yearning for more sleep! lol I even continued my sleeping journey in the car and straight to the bed! nyeknyek. I did brush my teeth before dying off though. :3

Anyway bf said that the movie wasn't all that great. Not sure how true that is but imma take his word for it :)

Oh oh, last night was the first time in my life seeing so many Indians at the box office. That's prolly because for the first time the cinema was showing a Hindu movie! Quite awesome yesh? At least they cater for all races now :)

Mom and I today went on a movie date and we watched Eat, Pray, Love. A very meaningful and inspirational 2hours and 13 mins :) worth every minute! Won't wanna spoil it for you so just go and watch it!

I tell you, after watching this movie you would be craving for Pasta, Chapati and Gelato instantly! Like how mom and I did! and of course Romancing in the heart of Italy! That would be Perfecto!

Hasn't been such a great day for me, well all emotions aside now. Let's talk about something a little happier! :) lets start with Tae Yang's hotness. I know the Big Bang fever in me faded quite an amount but how can I stop the Tae Yang obsession right? Cmon, JUST LOOK AT HIM!!

Monthsary, have you ever heard of that word before? because the last time I read that on Facebook I thought it was a joke, like maybe he/she made it up. Who knew, I Google-d it and Boom! Happy Monthsary's everywhere. 970,000 results on that alone. Yeah I'm a bit slow.

Especially young teens in love tend to have the need to celebrate that significant date every month. Truthfully, when you're right up there on cloud 9 you won't want to come down because it's always greener on that side. That day started with a bowl of fish ball mee hoon soup! It only filled half of my tummy, so I continued my meal with the Champagne snow skin moon cake from Ritz Carlton. Ohhhhhh yummmz! worth every single calorie! :D

Mom and I got sick of staying put at home so after the pour outside we headed out to The Gardens for some Food and a little shopping :3

The usual cat eye make up, the best type of eye make up for my eyes :) easy and fast!

Added my Dolly Wink bottom lashes for a slightly different feel :3

Mom and I were famished and needed food instantly! Went to our favourite Canton-i.

when my braces went out of alignment :( it hurt like crap! :( somebody call the doctor.

my first time with bottom lashes! bit fail but it was my first time :) i didn't use all of them cause I was too lazy and hungry to continue! waaaaaa eye bags quite zhialat!

bought them Dolly Winks last week after contemplating for so long (as you know it ain't cheap AT ALL RM55.90 each and using my own money doesn't help at all), just the bottom ones though, cause i have quite a few pairs of top fake lashes already. Truth? ACTUALLY was partially broke that's why i didn't get the top ones.. sigh. I desperately needed a new liquid eyeliner, so i got the deep black to try.. which cost me another RM55.90!

Olivia told me not to get them as it takes a longer time to remove it. Well what she told me wasn't true at all because it was really easy to remove! Guess it isn't waterproof? :( I will have to experiment with it soon :) Feel like getting some top fake Dolly Wink lashes! :D

Yes, I'm back to being an active blogger. My disappearance has it's reasons and one of them was because that there's some stupid error with my blog page and I still can't seem to figure it out. I think I'd need somebody's help :( any of you who are blog spot savvy would like to help me? need it badly, pretty much frustrating the hell out of me right now seeing my blog in this condition, yeah that's why I didn't blog cause when I look at it I wanna cry T.T.. I can't click the link to my Older Posts at the bottom of the page and I'm not able to even locate gadgets on the sidebar! Damn tulan okay? pfft. hmm my complains will just stop here before my mood goes the extreme and also because i don't wanna bore you with my rants, mmhmm least now it looks a lil bit better since i have modified it zzz.

Never mind that, I'm proud to announce that I've finally gotten my driving license :) yeap passed my driving test on my first attempt which was quite a breeze and now I am licensed to kiiiieeeel ;) Don't think I'll be getting a car of my own anytime soon, but it's okay :) don't think it's really necessary for me to get one right now anyway. I'm grateful that I have no transport problems of any kind. Mom and Dad are usually always keen to take me places and not forgetting Mr. Chiam ;) The best part is I'm allowed to drive their cars :O

Wang Lee Hom's showcase that was held at One Utama to promote his new album :) it was quite an epic event for the fans and also the non-fans. Overall, the whole showcase was quite a disappointment to me, maybe because my expectations were a bit higher? anyway.. Why I say so? well he only sang one song, the infamous Ni Bu Zhi Dao De Shi. yeah that was about it! after waiting an hour under the scorching sun and not being able to breathe properly in the stuffy crowd! one miserable song? damn. felt kinda cheated in a way. And i even heard some of the fans waited since morning :S till that extend? how insane! it was supposed to start at about 6pm but ended up starting at around 7 ish.
But ya know what? to me that was just one small tiny winy problem cause as long as he was there for me to lean on and just be there for me, I was one happy girl :)

A very lucky one as well :D

without me knowing, he got me his album the day before the showcase :'( shooooo sweet! huh? it also came with a limited edition key that you can actually take to the key maker dude to have it shaped :) pretty awesome stuff. Oh and i also got a poster :D

Surprise surprise! :D hope you guys like the new look :)
the bangs wasn't what i had in mind at first, all i wanted to do was to trim my damaged hair plus also maybe change it a little bit but didn't think of a short fringe. After perming and coloring my hair a month ago, my hair had loss its shine and a part of it was quite badly damaged by all the bleaching and perming. sigh. it saddens me cause previously my hair glowed and was very healthy i must say :3

was a tad bit reluctant to do it at first haha, knowing me i like to change my mind. still am not entirely used to the fact that i have a short fringe now but what the heck :) no regrets though! A change is healthy! definitely happy with the cut overall, thanks a lot Mark :D

Oh and if you guys have been following my facebook you'd know that i'm having this dilemma, where which phone i should use.. a Blackberry Bold or an Iphone 3Gs. well daddy wanted to pass down his Iphone 3Gs to me but i think he has changed his mind, or maybe i wasn't persistent at all so yeah. anyway i have the Blackberry Bold with me now and i wanna familiarize myself with it and see if i really do like using it or not. so far so good actually :) the smsing is a little challenging but whats the fun without a little challenge right? haha :P

My dad subscribed for Digi so that i can surf online and so forth, but unfortunately Digi sucks to the max! -.- there isn't any signal at my housing area so that means i can't make calls nor can i text people! and yeah since i do not have wireless at home, i can't even go online. wtf? this is why i always say, Maxis is the best! no problems at all. sigh much. nothing is permanent at this moment but hopefully things would flow my way :)

HOLIAO! :D Wong Kok is almost done with their renovation, but isn't that restaurant like non halal? porkerinaaaaaa :)

I have been a fan of his music for quite some years now, not exactly crazy crazy about him but he is absolutely gorgeous is so many ways! every girls dream boy? no? I have never attended any of his concerts or whatsoever but that doesn't mean i ain't a fan right? haha. so anyway i will be going to his showcase for sure! This Sunday at Central Park Avenue, 1 Utama 6pm. Be there if you want his autograph and hear him sing Ni Bu Zhi Dao De Shi and his other awesome pohsome hit, 18 Martial Arts!!! I fell in love with these two songs immediately when i watched the movie Love in Disguise! haha yeap, watched a Mandarin movie last week :) with Kim the cousin who is a big fan of him!

the storyline was rather quite the typical boy meets girl and they end up falling in love with each other kinda thing, but just with a little twist here and there :) the mix of classical and pop music was genius! this movie was also directed and produced by Lee Hom himself. see how talented this guy is? how can we not love him? :3

i can't deny that there were super cheesy scenes in the movie, he and co starring actress Crystal Liu start floating in the sky where they're surrounded by mountains and clouds in China? hahaha! some cornyshytz yesh? there were also many hilarious moments where i burst out into laughter! heh. Must watch if you love Wang Lee Hom!

Not a big fan of classical music but the Erhu is definitely an exception!

Located in One Bangsar :) happened to chance upon this really cozy little Korean BBQ restaurant when mom and i were looking out for a nice place to have some yummy food!

only realized it was called Zens Korean BBQ when i scrutinized the table mat and immediately sent a message to lz when he was all the way in Hong Kong to tell him about it :)

Was there was a carrot shoved up your ass or you were naturally born a moron? OR maybe you're one unloved child who desperately needs mommy's tender loving care but just way too arrogant to admit it? tsk. shame on you and your parents! Unfortunate for your generations to come though. sigh.

What happened was this, i don't know whether it's my "karma" or just my luck kinda thing having to encounter these kind of people in just a week. not only was i surprised but was very flabbergasted and it extremely ticked me off! literally pushed me against the wall. and now for the stories....

Scenario no. 1

One day, grandmother, mom and i headed to The Gardens for a little shopping. it was the day after MTV World Stage and in my super blur and lethargic state of mind. while mom was scouting for a parking spot in peace and it was pretty quick when we found one :) lucky us indeed. okay i think i would have a trouble describing the incident so i shall draw it out! shall AMAZE you with my artsy farty skills :D *a few minutes later....* AHHHHH my drawing turned out quite bad but it's sufficient enough i suppose? haha.

as the drawing shows, mommy parked her car to the side so that other cars have space to overtake her in front but this jerk at the back was probably a stupid ass cause..... i really don't know actually, Maybe cause any IDIOT would have known that she wanted to park, with her signaling to indicate to the left =.= my gawd. he started to honk us from behind and so....

with consideration, mom drove a little further up. who knew, after a few more honks from the jerk he drove right next to our car and wind down the window and so did my mom...

Mom: I wanna park.
Asshole: (pause for a few seconds) BITCH! GO FUCK YOURSELF!
(while the father of the asshole showed a middle finger)
Mom: (in shock) hahahaha why?

by the time my mom could finish her sentence, he already sped off. what a pussy. right now, just visualizing the situation all over again makes me wanna laugh though. especially when the old man stuck his finger at us. wow! hahahaha. no seriously, it tickles me now.

my grandmother thought she heard him say "GO PARK YOUSELF!" omg. hilarious la phor. Mom was like "yi kong ("he said" in hokkien) GO FUCK YOURSELF! lah" Grandmother: "AIYOHHH! kong chao wah! ("say bad word")". ZZzzzzZzzzz

everything just happened in a blink of an eye and i was so mad at myself for not being more alert towards the situation! dang. i would have totally shouted 1000 bad words at him! a straight combo of vulgarity. urgh, how wasted. too bad lah the wuss ran away like that so quickly. anyway, it wouldn't have been worth it right?........nah it would have been a farking absolute 100% satisfactory to blow him off his top for bullying my mother. farktard. pfft.

Scenario no. 2

My classmate was driving, forgotten who drove lah must have been Darren. anyway he was just driving normally on the road then all of a sudden when i turned to my right i saw a fat ass Indian dude on a motorbike sticking his middle finger at us and continued with a big laugh. wtf? i have no idea what he was trying to prove but he did look like an idiot for sure.

this is irrelevant but i love my manicured nails! The Nail Parlour in Megamall, they're also in KLCC :) strongly recommended. Rm30 only! for a Pedicure it's only an extra of Rm10 :)

Snippets during our practice for the Korean Wave Contest months ago.

dancing brings me such joy, just listening to the beats of a song, that feeling and how it moves your soul... you got no choice but to just groove to the rhythm. without fail i visualize me dancing to it. steps which i make up there and then in my head. the possibilities of me dancing to those moves that i visualize, it's funny how i create them in my head but sometimes i do wonder whether if i really do have the ability to execute them beautifully as how i imagine them to turn out.

First week of college, final semester. nothing to shout about, everything seems the same. just different subjects and a few new faces, guess everything's not exactly the same heh. today's highlight was that i almost fell on my buttock in front of 50 over people and gave out a short shriek :D and it wasn't embarrassing at all! haha who am i kidding. well so much for a grand entrance :)

so lz is now in Hong Kong with two of his boy friends having an awesome time i'm sure! eating like pigs and painting the town purple :)

i actually got to know her through the Korean Wave Contest that i had participated 4 months ago with Chris and Leon. she is the public relations director for My Hottest 2pm Fan Club! very awesome pohsome eh? :) we represented their club in the competition!

Derrick Thong my hockey skater buddy! bumped into him and he tagged along for a bit :)

unfortunately i don't have a picture of the queue, but it was thick with people and way too long :) so use your Imagination!

Brandon, another skater friend of mine! thankfully i spotted him in the crowd who were lining up, waiting to get in :) he was our life saver!

Bunkface (a local band), Wonder Girls, Tokio Hotel and Katy Perry!

i didn't take any pictures of Bunkface cause i couldn't be bothered, haha! Derrick you can't persuade me cause their music is pretty much noise to me :D

restless and impatient, two very conspicuous emotions were seen in the audience that night! including me who happened to have a bad backache. apparently, due to the very heavy rain, many electronic devices were undergoing malfunction or weren't working perfectly therefore there was a delay of more than 40 minutes in between every interval. what made me so moody blue was the heat, rain, sour-cream-gone-bad smelling people and two guys who were prolly about 6 feet towering over me which caused the ultimate view of the stage, Not. everything ended at about 12:30am, we, along with 80% of the crowd didn't stay back for the encore which was a performance by Wonder Girls, they performed Nobody again.

yup, well despite ALL of that the stars were at their very Best and even Bunkface i must say :)

Wonder Girls, they were quite hot and creative with their performances, even if their vocals weren't all that great, they are still the Wonder Girls :) them to make them boys go wild!

Tokio Hotel, one word SEXY! Bill Kaulitz is woah, impressive! love the way he owned the stage. not forgetting how he looks so much like Adam Lambert on stage! the slimmer version of him that is. his fashion from head to toe did really remind me of him.

and lastly, Katy Perry

she moved me with her awesomely awesome performances! the props were so cute and colourful. in additional to her amazing vocals and stage presence was her interaction with the crowd! i was quite astonished by her enthusiasm and how she wasn't afraid to be herself. can never forget her mesmerizing big grey eyes! ♥
